“TRINIDAD — The City of Trinidad officially kicked off its 150th birthday celebration last Sunday with a community party at The Commons @ Space to Create in the Corazón de Trinidad. More than 200 people attended, including past and present community leaders, business owners, longtime and new residents, and many current and former mayors of the city.

The event marked Trinidad’s incorporation on Feb. 1, 1876, and launched a year-long sesquicentennial celebration that will continue through Dec. 31, 2026. The celebration honors Trinidad’s rich and storied history through events, music, art, and community gatherings throughout the year.”
